wednesday morning, August 12, 2009. 10am kami umalis sa school papunta sa lopez quezon para magduty sa district hospital dun (magsaysay hospital). oncall ang duty namin, round the clock ang pag duty- kung may manganganak, kukunin namin o kaya pag may ooperahan.
almost 2hours travel from lucena.
pahinga ng konte, tas nagsuot na ng scub suit. fight!
ayus naman lahat: NICU (neonatal intensive care unit), handle at assist. 7pm yata nun ng may dumating na buntis. napansin ko, medyo malaki yung tyan nia. lumabas muna yung iba samin (kasama ako) para mag give way sa wala pang handle at assist sa DR (delivery room).
tik tak tok tik tako tok. ilang minuto ang dumaan, tinawag kami ng isa sa mga kagrupo namin. pumunta daw kami sa loob sabi ni ma'am, may nanganak daw na 5. tumakbo kami lahat papasok.
tapos, nakita namin na may 5baby na sa nakahiga sa NICU room, nililinis nung iba kong classmates, tapos biglang may isa pang nakuhang baby at may isa pa ulit. bale naging 7 na sila. 5months baby; premature, grasping for their breath. tsk. nakaka awa tingnan. binaptize na lang namin to guide them on their way:(

may contraceptives pala na ginagamit yung pasyente, tapos nung na expire na uminom naman sya ng pills. tas, bigla na lang daw sya hindi nagkaron ng menstraution na nagtagal ng 3-5mos. nagtaka na sila. yun pala, na buntis na sya at may multifetal pregnancy pala sya. kaya yun, naging 7 yung baby na nabuo sa kanya. kelangan ng mapalabas yung septuplets kase delikado yung nanay pag pinatagal pa sa loob bg tyan nia. no choice but to sacrifice the 7lives.

the missing pandesal.

Pandesal is the most popular yeast-raised bread in the Philippines. Individual loaves are shaped like garrison caps due to its unique method of forming. Monday morning. 6 o'clock. nag alarm na yung phone ko. i've to wake up. 7am klase ko e. mag aaral pa ko, baka may quiz kami e. i fixed my bed, then open our fridge to search for the pandesal. few seconds of seekibg for the missing pandesal. uurrgghhh! i can't find the bread.
napagod na ko. may kumain na siguro. tsk. too bad!
i ended up to a cheese cake at mug of hot chocomilk.

another week of school days at duty sa ER.

1.LOUDSPEAKER, eto yung mga kaklase natin na pilit lalakasan ang boses para madominate nila ang boses ng crowd para marinig ng teacher yung sagot nia na katulad din naman nung iba, nagkataon lang na mas malakas yung boses nia.

2.ECHO cho choooo chhoo, sila yung mga seatmate natin na nakikipagsabayan sa mga sagot ng buong klase pag may tinatanong yung teacher pagkatapos niang marining yung sagot ng iba, para kunyari alam rin nia yung tamang sagot at active sya sa recitation.

3.QUIZ TAKER, sila naman yung mga tatahi-tahimik lang sa klase: tamad mag recite, makipag sabayan sa mga kaklase nia at tamad din mag taas ng kamay. bumabawi na lang sila pag may quiz at lahat ng written exam, sa totoo lang matalino sila, ayaw lang nila ipahalata sa mga kaklase nia.

4.KING&QUEEN OF NODS, bihira lang sila makita sa isang klase. konte lang ang ganito. eto yung mga klasmeyts natin na mahilig tumango, na ikaw mismo yung mangangalay kapag nakita mo sya na tango ng tango kapag nagkaron sila ng eye contact nung teacher na nagdi discuss, kunyari attentive sya at naa-absorb nia lahat nung sinasabi ng teacher maski sa totoo lang nalilito rin sya at hindi nia maintindihan yung sinasabi ng teacher.

5.SILENT BRAINY, sa lahat ng mga category ng kaklase natin, sila ang hinahangaan ko ng sobra. bakit? sila kase yung mga klasmeyts natin na humble lang: hindi sila nakikipagsabayan sa mga kaklase niang malalakas lang ang loob sumagot pag may kasabay at tumitiklop naman pag wala silang kasabay, sila rin ay sumasagot lang pag tinawag sila ng teacher kse nag effort sila na itaas yung kamay nila dahil alam talaga nila yung sagot.

a month ago, i went to a doctor to have a general check up.
because of my recurrent fever (39 degree celcius), i thought it was an A(H1N1). i got paranoid. waaa.

the doctor tried to fool me, sabi nia "based from your laboratory results, it seems that you're suffering from a viral infection." ... "balik ka after a week, icge check ulit kita."
pero yung white blood cells ko naman e: 6.9, ang normal range ay 5.0-10
we can say na may viral infection ang patient pag below the normal range ang WBC, e ok naman yung sakin. tsk, few doctors do this, trying to make some extra money from their patients. too bad.

but still, she prescribed an antibiotic, maski sabi nia na possible viral infection daw yung case ko.
antibiotic to treat viral infection? crap! a whole crap!

after all, hp6 in the book doesn't have those fight scenes compared to hp5. so why complain?
